As soon as I read that verse, I knew it was for me. God was telling me that I was still in the wilderness. The place the Israelites spent for 40 years on a journey that should have taken about a month’s time. They passed the same places. Ate the same things. I am in my wilderness ready to crossover to a place that has already been toiled and built just for me. I just had to learn to trust Him.
The thick, woven rope was tied tightly around my waste. There was another tied around each of my ankles and wrists. The heaviest rope of all was the one tied securely around my neck.
